"Where can i get grants for a home daycare business in california?"
There are many things that you have not mentioned here. Will your daycare business be a for-profit, non-profit or a combination of both?
One of the things that you can do is to go to the official government grant site where you will be able to see a list of their grant programs and you will not have to pay a fee to do so!
You can also take a look at some examples of grants for daycare businesses by going to my Grant Basics 101 - Daycare Website.
Besides government grants you should also look for grant programs being offered by other entities as well! For example if you are a minority looking for grant programs to help start your own business then you should be made aware that there is at least one grant program that is open to minorities that want to start their own business. One of the requirements (besides being a minority) is that you will also have to submit a business plan.
This grant program awards about $30,000 in grant money for those that want to start their own business!
You should also check your own state website to see if they have any grant programs available for daycares.
Also be sure to remember that grant money is free money - which means that it does not have to be paid back!

You mentioned a Minority Business Grant in your post. Is the official government grant site where I would fine this information?
ReplyDeleteNo the grant program that I mentioned for minorities is not a government grant. It is a grant program being provided by an organization. It is a grant program for minorities that want to start their own business and include this grant information for all of my clients that want it. It seems to be a very popular grant program because there's no special limit on the type of business that an applicant wants to start and the grant award is $35,000 and I believe currently that they give out 3 of these grant awards yearly.
