Other playground improvements will help children explore their imagination, creativity and learning opportunies. They will plant a small orchard with fruit trees which the children will help grow and harvest. Raised garden beds will be added so that the children can plant, care for and harvest their own plants. The site will include a creek, lots of wildflowers, shade trees and bird feeders to attract different species of birds.
The grant will also be used to have a music center and outdoor art center built.

The mission of this grant program is to increase the quality of early care and education programs for children of the state.
The organization assists parents by offering childcare referrals and about quality child care setting information.
The daycare owner also received a $1,500 grant from the same organization to improve materials at her previous location. This organization will also help pay for the education of her employees as well. She must contribute by providing a wage increase and pay employees to study a couple hours a day while they study at home.
The organization that awards the grant also offers more incentives to daycare facilities that take advantage of furthering their education. The are working with the daycare's quality rating and improvement system. This system will improve all aspects of the daycare with education for staff members and funding for materials.
The daycare also wants to get parents involved and will ask them to contribute to the planning and even to the assembling of the playground. The daycare center hopes to have construction on the project begin in a couple weeks.
The daycare is also enlisting the help of a landscaping company for trees and from another company to help with construction.

"Are There Any Grants To Start A Daycare Business?"
"Are there any grant programs to help start a daycare business?"
The answer to this question is Yes!
For instance if you are a minority who has a dream of starting your own business then there is a grant program available that you can apply for. The grant award is $35,000 which is surely enough to be able to at least start your own daycare business.
I have also noted on this blog and my Grant Basics 101 blog about many different grant programs that are out there to help start a daycare business. A lot of these grant programs even allow for those that want to start a daycare business in their own home! There are government, state and even non-governmental grant programs that are available for this.
Anytime you read something that says that there are no grant programs for for-profit daycare businesses that this is wrong. Like I have mentioned many times before I have sent one client over 10 pages worth of grant program information about grant programs that her for-profit daycare business is eligible to apply for so there are definitely grant programs out there for for-profit daycare businesses!
