If you are really serious about wanting to start your own daycare then the first thing that I would suggest is that you start with looking up the site of the state that you live in. There are many states that have grant programs for daycare only because the need is so great.
You are going to have to decide whether or not you want to operate your daycare as a non-profit, for-profit or a combination of both.
I also suggest that you get your self a business plan. Why? Because there are start-up business grant programs as well.
